The aim was to design a home on an existing plot of land in North Perth, suitable for an anthropologist.

The proposal was designed for an environmental anthropologist examining the relationship between nature and its impact on human behaviour (studies have shown the mere presence of nature has positive effects on mental health and wellbeing). An inner courtyard plus multiple light wells help to blur the boundaries between inside and outside living.
